In senior high school number one there were four friends. Their name were Ardhi, Amal, Yara, and Bagus. One day Ardhi got some problem with his chemistry score.

Ardhi                    : “Oooh, It’s killing me” (surprise face)

Bagus                    : “Hey Ardhi, what happen?”

Ardhi                    : “Heemm.. no”

Yara                     : “Are you sure? But your face is pale”

Amal                     : “Please Dhi, tell us what’s the matter?”

Ardhi                    : “Actually, I’ve got a bad score for my chemistry test”

Bagus                    : “Heemm, don’t be sad Ardhi. We can help you”

Yara                     : “Yes, that’s right. But what can we do for him?”

Amal                     : “I think we can make a small group for study chemistry. What do you                                think Dhi?”

Ardhi                    : “Yes of course, Im really pleased with it. When will it be held?”

Bagus                    : “How about if we start on weekend  guys?”

Yara                     : “Im sorry I can’t, I’ve to go to my grandpa’s house on weekend. Can                                we change the time?”

Amal                     : “How about if we start on next week? Can you?”

Yara                     : “Yes of course I can”

Bagus                    : “But wait, where is it held?”

Amal                     : “In Ardhi’s house. What do you think guys?”

Yara, Ardhi, Bagus : “Great”

Amal                     : “So guys, we start it on next week in Ardhi’s house. Catch you later!”

          In the next week, they start to study together. And two weeks later, they got the second chemistry test. And ardhi can do it well. When the score was known by the students, Ardhi got a good score.

Ardhi                    : “Alhamdulillah, what a relief! Thank God for this”

Bagus                    : “Congratulation Dhi, Finally you can do your best”

Yara                     : “Yeah, I’m proud of you”

Ardhi                    : “Thanks guys, for your help, I’m really thankful”

Bagus Amal Yara    : “With our pleasure”

          After Ardhi got a good score in chemistry test yesterday, he had a plan to treat his friends.

Ardhi                    : “Hey guys you have helped me studied chemistry for 2^nd test, and                                     now I get a good score, so I want to treat all of you to dinner tonight"

Bagus                    : “Are you sure?”

Yara                     : “That’s good idea”

Amal                     : “Heemm but I can’t because I must go to my course”

Ardhi                    : “How about tomorrow night?”

Amal                     : “Yes, I can”

Bagus                    : “But wait, where it will be?”

Ardhi                    : “Pizza Hut, what do you think?”

Bagus, Yara, Amal  : “Wow, so interest”

Yara                     : “Oke see you tomorrow night guys”

Bagus, Amal, Ardhi : “See you”

Princess Halwah, Hill, and The Blackbird

          Once upon a time there lived a princess in the kingdom. Her name was Halwah Morrison. She was very beautiful but she had autism syndrome. She loved to play on the hill every time and everyday. She had a friend. Her only friend was a bird, blackbird. Nobody wanted to be her friend, except the blackbird. She told everything that had happened to blackbird. And the blackbird listened to her carefully. That's why she loved to play on the hill.

As time goes by, Princess Halwah became a young adult woman. Of course, the King and Queen asked their Princess to get married. But nobody wanted to marry her.

          One day, when the Princess played around the hill, she met a good - looking man. The Princess thought that the man was looked for something. But she wasn't really care. The man just walked away and continued his journey. Then, the man came into the castle which the Princess lived in. He said that he wanna met the King and Queen. He said :

" Hey Majesty, I hear you have a princess and looking for someone who wanna marry her"

" Yes right, who are you? " said the king

" I'm a Prince from other kingdom, my name is Edmund, may I marry with your daughter? " asked the Prince

" But prince... my daughter has autism syndrome, we're not sure you wanna marry her. She can't do anything for you. And she can't love you perfectly." said the Queen

" That's no problem, I'll do anything for her. " answered the Prince.

          Finally, Prince Edmund get married with Princess Halwah. After that, Princess Halwah forgot all about the hill and blackbird. Since that, the blackbird decided to fly away to somewhere.

          One day, the Princess' uncle named Petter came to kingdom. He wanna take the king's power. He made harmful poison which is he made for 24 years. He sent the letter to the Morrison kingdom that there was a dinner invitation and Morrisons's family accept it. Petter had a plan to kill them. He pour the poison in the meal.

When the King and Queen ate the food, they died at that time. Prince Edmund and Princess Halwah so surprised. They ran away into the woods and Petter chased them. Suddenly the blackbird came into the woods and found Prince Edmund and Princess Halwah, he said :

" Hey Princess, take one of my feather and it can help you"

" But.... What will happen next? "asked the princess

" Heeemmm...." 

" Tell me bird, what will happen? " 

" I can die, but don't worry Princess, I'll always beside you " answered the blackbird

But the Princess didn't want to take the feather. Suddenly Petter came closer.

" Hurry up, take my feather! I don't wanna see you hurt " asked the bird.

With doubtful the Princess took the blackbird's feather, and the bird was died. The feather changed into a very bright light and flew away to Petter, than BOOOOOMMMM......

Petter died at the moment. The princess cried because her parents and her only friend, blackbird was died. They came back to the kingdom and started a new life and lived happily ever after

1. Don't forget to your friend, even you have someone new
2. Your real bestfriend always beside you when you got in trouble

West Kalimantan's Cultures

                There are so many cultures in Indonesia, especially in West Kalimantan. West Kalimantan is located in Borneo island. Pontianak is the capital of West Kalimantan province. We can find many cultures in there, such as regional language, traditional dance, traditional musical instrument, traditional weapon, and some other.

          Bahasa Indonesia generally used by people in west Borneo. Besides that, they use Malay Pontianak, Malay Sambas and Bahasa Senganan. Malay language in west Borneo consists of several types, like Malay Pontianak and Malay Sambas. They use these language to communicate with other people based on their region.

          In review of art, West Kalimantan has some traditional dances from Malay and Dayak tribes. Like Monong dance, Pingan dance, Jonggan dance, and Zapin dance. Monong dance is a medicine dance for all dayak people. This dance has function for cure someone who was sick. And this dance is part of Balian traditional ceremony. Pingan dance is a single dance on Dayak Mualang. In this time, this dance has function to entertain people for some food/luck/bless that was given by God. This dance use Pingan for attraction. Beside Monong and Pingan, there is Jonggan dance. This dance tells about happiness in young Dayak people association. This dance usually ask guest to dance together. And the last is Zapin, Zapin comes from Malay people in West Kalimantan. Zapin dance has function for reveal of happiness in association.

          Because of many types of dance in West Kalimantan, automatically it is followed by traditional musical instrument which has function as dance’s accompanist. Such as Terah Umat which is a percussion instrument like the Javanese gamelan and it is made from iron, Entebong is a type of drum and fame in local Dayak communtiy, Kangkuang is a percussion instrument made of wood, and Kohotong, a wind instruments, made from a wild plant such as palm trees.

          West Kalimantan has a traditional house, it calls Betang. This house is usually used by the Dayak community. Betang house has characteristic. Its shape is like a stage and elongated. On Dayak tribes, in making a long house, the upstream should be in line with sunrise, and the downstream should be in line with sunset, as a symbol of hard work, start from sunrise and return home at sunset.

          West Kalimantan also has many traditional foods, like tempoyak, bubur pedas, lemang, and lempok. Tempoyak is traditional cake from West Kalimantan, it is made by ripe durian and salt. Lemang is made by pulut/ketan which put in bamboo. Lempok is made by durian, we can find lempok durian in Pontianak. And Bubur pedas is made by rice and many vegetables, like pakis and some other. It is a traditional food from Sambas region.

My Favourite Item

Hello! I wanna describe my favourite item. It is my Beatles book. I got it from my brother in my 15th birhtday. I really love this book, because I'm a fan of The Beatles :) This book was written by David Bennahum, was born in New York, 1968. It tells about The Beatles personnel's life after they break up.
So, I wanna describe its detail. As a common book,  Its shape is square. It has 192 pages. The cover is white and it has The Beatles personnel's picture on that cover. This book is very interesting for me :)
